Ashtum El Gamil Protected Area, Egypt, is also called Ashtom El Gamil, it is located 7 KM west of Port Said, it covers an area of 180 KM, it was founded in 1988 on tannies Island, overlooking El Manzala lake, it is under the management of the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA).
