Herodotus
Herodotus was one of the old Greek historians. He is thought to be lived in the fifth century. Herodotus’s origin was from Caria, Halicarnassus (Bodrum in Turkey). He was known as the “Father of History” in the modern culture of Western Europe and North America. He was the premier historian known who invented the known system of collecting materials consistently. He was the only one famous for his writing about the “Inquiries” and the roots of the wars of Greco-Persian occurred in-between 490 – 480 B.C.
