Moses Mountain (also known as gabal El Munagah / Mount Horeb / Mount Musa / Jabel Mousa) is the mountain in which God spoke to Prophet Moses, Moses Mountain is 2285 M high, from the top of the mountain you can see old chapels and a small church dedicated to the holly trinity, the burning bush is located within the monastery of St.Catherine, it is a small chapel built in 1934 on the remains of the 16th century church. There are various mysteries around the mountain. It takes about 3 hours to climb this mountain and to follow the path of Moses (stairway of 4.000 steps), and for those who want to climb Moses mountain, they should bring hiking shoes and some heavy clothes.
