From the early ages, Suez, Egypt was known for its important location. It was a trade center that links many countries together. And if we go further in its history, to the Ptolemaic Klysma, Suez, Egypt was famous for being a center for spice trade. Also, it was a transit point for the pilgrims to Mecca in the 18th century. So, it was a guaranteed source for finances and modernization. And lately, it became more important for the discovery of the oil in its land. Unfortunately, the city was destroyed during Egypt`s War in 1967 – 1973. Later, it was gradually reconstructed and became one of the most beautiful cities in Egypt. |
