Wadi Degla
Wadi Degla is one of the most beautiful protected areas in Egypt, it was announced as a protected area in 1999, it is considered as a natural heritage and a clean lung for a crowded city, Cairo.
Wadi Degla, Egypt, extend from east to west with a length of 30 km; it is described as a desert valley, with steep cliff sides, it contains a group of animals such as mountain rabbits , red fox , feather tailed rat , oviparous barbed rat, little tailed bat and others.
Wadi Degla, Egypt, is also known as Degla valley which started in the shape of small tributaries where rainfall water pours on hills near the valley, Degla valley is rich with plant and animal life and that is the most remarkable thing about that valley as it contains 64 kinds of plants and there are also 12 kinds of eastern desert birds. |
