Zaranik Protected Area, Egypt is situated at the eastern side of Bardawil Lake, on the Mediterranean coast of Sinai; it is the first stop point for bird’s migration from Europe and Asia on their way to Africa during autumn.
Zaranik Protected Area, Egypt is bordered from the north by the Mediterranean, from the south side by Qantara - El Arish road, and from the east side by a huge compound of tourist development areas.
Zaranik Protected Area, Egypt covers about 250 KM, it was founded in 1985, and its main goal is to protect the migratory birds, it is now under the management of the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency.
