Africa
Africa is considered as the second largest continent on Earth and the second most populated as well, after Asia. It covers about 30.2 million km² which is about 6% of the Earth and 20.4% of the total land area. It contains 54 countries.
Africa is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea from the north, the Red Sea and Suez Canal from the east, the Indian Ocean from the southeast and the Atlantic Ocean from the west.
