To All Considering a Trip to Egypt,Go and have a wonderful time. It is extremely safe. We returned on the 3 Apr. 2012. I can assure all that, we (two, 60 year old females) saw no sign of any type of demonstration, trouble or violence during our 3 week tour. It was easy to get around as there aren’t the usual great numbers of tourists. We stayed in Cairo at Sofitel, great hotel, flew to see Abu Simbal, must do, Nassar Cruise, Could leave this out, Nile Cruise from Aswan, fabulous, Luxor Sheraton on the Nile for 2 nights, just fantastic. Then flew to Sharm el Sheik. Great place to unwind after lots of site seeing.We used a company in Egypt called Vantage Travel International. I communicated with a few Egypt based companies. I finally decided on this one as I was lucky to be dealing with Sherif El-Warhab, who seemed more knowledgeable and on the ball than the others. Also this company has an Australian NSW address. This I felt could be insurance as we live in NSW. I found I was correct in choosing Vantage.We were picked up, always on time in a clean and good size van. Our guides – chosen by Sherif were excellent through out the entire trip. All the hotels were 5 star quality and excellent value. The Nile Cruise was wonderful. He organized our balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings. A must do inclusion to any trip. Sherif always answers any questions you have with clarity. Everything we requested was included. Our tour price was great value for money and very competitive.Sherif is an excellent organizer in all and nothing is a problem for him!Before we left Australia we had a few internal plane cancellations. I contacted Sherif who immediately and efficiently organized all necessary transport and accommodation changes. We were lucky to have found him. Thank you Sherif!

Dear Sherif,I wanted to thank you so much for making our family trip to Egypt such a memorable one. Everything was so well-organized, all drivers were excellent, and all guides were so pleasant and knowledgeable. The entire 9-day tour you arranged for us went like clock-work! No detail was overlooked and we were able to see and do so much more than if we had tried to tackle this trip on our own. It was so nice to have Zacharia meet us for all our airport transfers in Cairo. He even had us upgraded to nicer rooms both times at the Mena House Oberoi! We also really enjoyed our guide in Cairo Hossam. He taught us about the Pyramids and Egyptian history from Dashour to Giza walked us through the Egyptian Museum and Khan El Khalili. Our Nile cruise aboard the Sonesta Moon Goddess was fantastic with excellent service and meals. We also had a wonderful guide. Robert that taught us about all the famous sites we stopped at along the way from Luxor to Aswan. The hot air balloon ride in Luxor was an experience in itself and one not to be missed! We appreciate all your personalized attention and it was icing on the cake to have you personally treat us to dinner on the Nile on our last night in Egypt! Thank you so much for arranging such a wonderful vacation for my family. We hope to visit Egypt again someday and will be sure to have Vantage Travel International organize another fabulous vacation for us!

The balloon ride over the valley of the kings is not to be missed. Everything was good about it, we got picked up from our hotel (which was in an old car and we made a passing comment about it, so they dropped us back in a minibus), the boat ride accross the Nile with a cup of coffee, then we watched them inflate the balloon and we were off! Fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone. My wife is very scared of hieghts but she had no problem on this trip. Thanks for great memory, Colin Nicholls

Fantastic Opportunity to Visit Egypt & Jordan at this time!
We have just returned to Canada after a fantastic month of travel in Egypt and Jordan. After our group tour was cancelled because of the uncertainty in Egypt, Sherif Abd El-Wahab of Vantage Travel International in Giza, Egypt was able to arrange a comprehensive tour of the major sights in Egypt and Jordan on very short notice. Within two weeks we had agreed an itiniary and arrived in Cairo on February 24, 2011.Becauseof the current low level of tourists we were able to upgrade our accomodations and were fortunate to have very well qualified guides and personal attention throughout our travels. The staff from Vantage Travel and their associated agents were constantly monitoring our status and conditions of travel arrangements to ensure our plans and schedule remained intact. On a couple of occasions we had to change from air flights to train travel because of flight cancellations due to the low volume. The first train trip was an experience, but the second convinced us that plane travel was definitely preferrable.A particular highlight was a week spent in the western desert, including the Siwa Oasis and two days camping in the white and black deserts - a totally different view of Egypt. Tthe guide and off road driver were particularly enthusiastic and knowledgeable to make this a fun experience.Of course there were the well known key attractions of Abu Simbal, Temples of Karnak and Luxor, Valley of the Kings , Sakkara, Dashoor, Cairo and the Pyramids of Giza, the Library in Alexandria and the various points in between covered during the Nile River Cruise from Aswan to Luxor. The sound and light show at Karnak, ballooning in the valley of the Kings and climbing Mt. Sinai were also memorable experiences. Petra was truly an amazing place. We spent three days at the site and could easily have spent more time, the dead sea, Jerash, Amra and Ajlun Castle were also memorable areas to visit.During all our travels in Egypt and Jordan we were welcomed by all that we met and never had any concern for our safety or security. While we regret the unfortunate effect on the economy and livelihood of many people the great lack of tourists provided us with unique opportunities to visit and view the historical monuments and sites in an unusual fashion, almost totally free of crowds.Our thanks to Sherif and his staff for their outstanding efforts.
